WE MADE IT—Welcome to DAY 20 of Prompt-a-Day! This series will help you keep up with your writing, stay motivated and use those creative muscles!
You can review the intro post here and video here.
HOW IT WORKS:
Five days a week, I’ll share a prompt based on something that happened in my day--just to show you how easy it can be.
AND I’M INVITING YOU TO WRITE ABOUT THE PROMPTS AND ENTER FOR A FREE DEVELOPMENTAL EDIT!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PAD CHALLENGE:
Each weekday for a month, I’ll post a prompt here for you to use as a springboard to write either a nonfiction article (suitable to submit to a magazine or newspaper); a personal narrative (based on your real life); or a short story (fiction). NOTE: NO pornography, graphic violence, racism or the like.
Write a piece that’s 1000 words or less and submit it to me at ricki@rickiheller.com with the subject line, “PAD Submission.” You can send as a Word file, or simply copy/paste into the body of your email.
At the end of the month, I’ll randomly choose one submission for editing. You’ll receive your edits within 30 days after submission.
You can also see what I’ve done with the prompts on Substack., here:
NOTE: Submissions that do not comply with these rules will not be considered. No exceptions.
